Ganderbal, Jammu and Kashmir: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has addressed the recent terror attack in Ganderbal, confirming that the attackers opened indiscriminate fire at a company mess involved in tunnel construction. "According to the initial investigation, two people hiding their faces entered the mess and opened indiscriminate firing. People have lost their lives, and four others have been injured," Sinha reported.

He shared that he met with the injured individuals at the hospital and expressed his condolences to the families affected by the violence. "The government is making arrangements to send the mortal remains to their homes. I also met the kin of the deceased, who was from Jammu. It is an unfortunate incident," Sinha stated, emphasizing the gravity of the situation.

The Lieutenant Governor mentioned that the Jammu and Kashmir Director General of Police, Additional DGP Law and Order, and Inspector General of Kashmir had reached the incident site immediately after the attack. "I assure the government that strict action will be taken against the accused," he pledged, underscoring the administration's commitment to ensuring justice and maintaining security in the region.
