JMM MP Criticizes BJP Over Samvidhaan Hatya Diwas Observance

JMM MP Mahua Maji criticized the BJP's decision to observe June 25, the day Emergency was declared, as Samvidhaan Hatya Diwas. She highlighted the BJP's failure to secure over 400 seats, as previously claimed, and emphasized that the INDIA alliance received a mandate because the Constitution was perceived to be in danger. "We should talk about what development are you (BJP) doing at present, in which direction are you taking the country, are you able to maintain communal harmony here as per the constitution or not," she stated. Maji suggested that the BJP's observance of Samvidhaan Hatya Diwas is an attempt to mislead people ahead of upcoming elections in four states, questioning their commitment to constitutional principles and national unity.
