Maharashtra accident horror
At least 25 people were killed and several suffered injuries as a bus traveling from Yavatmal to Pune caught fire on Samruddhi Mahamarg Expressway on Saturday. 33 people were on the bus at time of the incident. It burst into flames after a tyre of the bus caught fire, and later the diesel tank also caught fire. Among the dead there were 3 children and the injured had been shifted to Buldhana Civil Hospital for treatment. The exact cause of accident is yet to be determined. CM of Maharasthra, Eknath Shinde express his condolences and announced a compensation of 5 lakhs from CMs fund to relatives of the deceased. He demanded an inquiry into the incident. Fire brigade team and Emergency medical service team reached the spot and started the medical operation.
