Gun fight, violence in Manipur

Manipur continues to reel under violence and lawlessness with mob coming out in large numbers and vandalising houses of political leaders ans ministers.

Local residents claimed that youths of rival communities along with womenfolk are out on the streets and marching towards police station and senior political leader including BJP MPs and MLA s house.

According to reports coming in it’s a complete lawlessness in the hills and valley with armed militants walking in from across the border in Myanmar to carry out the war within themselves. Women are blocking the streets preventing security forces and the army from carrying out combing operations. Local police admitted that the situation is very volatile.
