Narendra Modi's Swearing-In Ceremony On June 9 At 6 PM

BY A STAFF REPORTER: As the NDA won the Lok Sabha elections, BJP Candidate Narendra Modi is expected to be sworn in as the Prime Minister of India on June 9 at 6:00 PM.

Earlier, the swearing-in ceremony was set to be held on June 8. However, the official confirmation of the date is awaited. Moreover, the NDA bloc unanimously elected Varanasi MP Narendra Modi as their alliance leader on June 5. 

After Jawaharlal Nehru, Narendra Modi will be the second individual to become India's Prime Minister for three consecutive terms. The National Democratic Alliance secured 293 out of 543 seats in the Lok Sabha elections in 2024. BJP secured 240 seats. On the other hand, INDI Alliance secured 232 seats.
