NIA Chargesheets Naxal Leader Sanjay Deepak Rao in Kerala Recruitment Case

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has charged Sanjay Deepak Rao, a Central Committee Member of CPI (Maoist) from the Western Ghats Special Zonal Committee (WGSZC), in a significant development related to the recruitment of vulnerable youth into a banned terrorist organization in Kerala.

Rao has been charged under various sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UA(P) Act). The charges were detailed in a supplementary chargesheet filed today by the NIA before the NIA Special Court in Ernakulam, Kerala.
