Jaya Verma Sinha, IRMS is new Chairman & CEO, Railway Board

New Delhi, Aug 31: Ms Jaya Verma Sinha, IRMS currently Member (Operations and Business Development has been appointed as new Chairman & CEO, Railway Board. DoPT issued the order for appointing Jaya Verma Sinha (IRMS) till 30.08.2024The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointment of Jaya Verma Sinha as chairman and CEO of the Railway Board. Jaya Sinha will replace Anil Kumar Lahoti as the new Chairman and CEO (Railway Board) and will take charge on September 1, 2023. She is also the first woman chairman of the Railway Board. Vijayalakshmi Viswanathan was the first woman member of the Railway Board.
