Mumbai: Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Indian Newspapers Society (INS) Towers, acknowledging the organization's significant role in India's history and its impact on national development. Speaking at the event, Modi highlighted the pivotal influence of the media in shaping the country's future.

"Indian Newspaper Society is one of the organizations that came into existence before independence. And that is why all of you have seen every ups and downs of the country's journey very closely, have lived it and have also told the general public about it," Modi stated. He stressed that the effectiveness of the INS as an organization directly benefits the nation.

"The media is not just a mute spectator of the conditions of the country. All of you people of the media play an important role in changing the conditions and giving direction to the country," he continued. Modi emphasized that the next 25 years are crucial for India's development, and the role of newspapers and magazines is equally significant in this journey.

"Today India is in such a period when its journey of the next 25 years is very important. For India to become developed in these 25 years, the role of newspapers and magazines is equally big," Modi concluded.
