Yamuna Nagar, Haryana — In a major push to strengthen Haryana's power infrastructure, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday laid the foundation stone for an 800 MW modern thermal power unit at the Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram Thermal Power Plant in Yamuna Nagar.
The new power unit is set to significantly enhance electricity generation capacity in the region and is aligned with the central government’s broader goals of energy security and infrastructure modernization.
