Kuwait City: Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the Gulf Spic Labour Camp in Kuwait as part of his landmark 2-day visit to the Gulf nation, strengthening ties with the Indian diaspora. This is the first visit by an Indian Prime Minister to Kuwait in 43 years, made at the invitation of Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Amir of the State of Kuwait.

During his visit to the labour camp, PM Modi interacted with Indian workers, acknowledging their contributions to Kuwait’s development and the strong cultural and economic bridge they form between the two nations. He expressed his gratitude for their hard work and resilience while assuring them of the Indian government's continued efforts to support and protect their welfare.
