New Delhi – Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday shared a deeply spiritual moment he experienced while returning from his recent visit to Sri Lanka. In a post on social media, he revealed that he was blessed with a Darshan of the sacred Ram Setu, the mythical bridge believed to have been built by Lord Ram’s army, at the exact time the Surya Tilak ceremony was taking place at the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.
“On the way back from Sri Lanka a short while ago, was blessed to have a Darshan of the Ram Setu. And, as a divine coincidence, it happened at the same time as the Surya Tilak was taking place in Ayodhya. Blessed to have the Darshan of both,” the Prime Minister wrote. “Prabhu Shri Ram is a uniting force for all of us. May His blessings always remain upon us.”
The Surya Tilak is a rare celestial event where a beam of sunlight falls precisely on the forehead of Ram Lalla in the sanctum of the Ram Mandir on Ram Navami, symbolizing divine blessings and cosmic alignment.
PM Modi’s message, blending devotion, national heritage, and spiritual symbolism, comes amid nationwide celebrations of Ram Navami 2025.
