PM Modi to Visit Wayanad for Review of Relief Efforts
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Wayanad, Kerala, on August 10, 2024, to assess the ongoing relief and rehabilitation efforts following recent landslides.
Wayanad: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Wayanad, Kerala, tomorrow, August 10, 2024, to personally review the relief and rehabilitation efforts in the region following recent landslides.
The Prime Minister is expected to arrive in Kannur at approximately 11:00 AM. From there, he will conduct an aerial survey of the landslide-affected areas in Wayanad. At around 12:15 PM, PM Modi will visit the site of the landslide, where he will be briefed by the Rescue Forces on the ongoing evacuation and rescue operations.
During his visit, Prime Minister Modi will also tour a relief camp and a hospital where victims and survivors are being cared for. He is expected to meet and interact with those affected by the disaster.
Following these engagements, the Prime Minister will chair a review meeting to receive a detailed briefing on the incident and the progress of the ongoing relief efforts.
