Dharwad, Karnataka: Union Minister Pralhad Joshi has called for a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe into the Rs 3800 crore MUDA scam, alleging serious misconduct involving the transfer of plots authorized by the Mysore Urban Development Authority (MUDA) to the wife of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah.

Speaking on the issue, Joshi highlighted that the former Deputy Commissioner (DC), who has since been transferred, wrote over 15 letters to the state government urging them to address the matter and provide clear directives to MUDA. Joshi emphasized the need for a proper and impartial investigation, asserting that the state government should hand the case over to the CBI to ensure transparency and accountability.
