Puri Collector Updates on Rath Yatra Preparations

Odisha: As preparations for the famous Rath Yatra festival in Puri reach full swing, Puri Collector Siddharth Shankar Swain provided an update on the extensive arrangements in place. Highlighting the unique nature of the Rath Yatra, Swain emphasized the readiness of the city to host the grand event.

Madam President will be joining the Rath Yatra celebrations tomorrow, adding to the significance of the occasion. Swain mentioned the deployment of over 12,000 personnel, including executive magistrates and members from various departments. The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Rapid Action Force (RAF), National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), and other teams are also on the ground to ensure smooth and secure proceedings.
