Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh: Divisional Railway Manager Narendra Anand Rao Patil informed that despite a warning for heavy rains over the past two days, the rainfall was manageable. However, tracks at Krishnapattanam port were temporarily submerged.

"Water has receded now, and service has been resumed," he stated. Patil also emphasized the preventive measures taken in light of the warnings from the government and the meteorological department. "We have engaged patrolmen and watchmen at all vulnerable locations across the division to ensure safety," he added.

The Indian Railways remain on high alert, with continued monitoring and precautionary efforts in place.
