Renuka Chowdhury Defends Rahul Gandhi's Remarks in Lok Sabha

During proceedings in the Lok Sabha, Congress MP Renuka Chowdhury spoke out against the expungement of portions from Rahul Gandhi's speech, questioning the rationale behind censoring his remarks. "Why did they expunge? What was it that they found so intense? Whatever Rahul Gandhi said is right. I am saying it as a Hindu that a real Hindu is not violent," Chowdhury asserted.

She criticized the ruling party's control over parliamentary proceedings, alleging arbitrary decisions to stifle opposition voices. "They are doing whatever they want. They are running the House at their will," she added, expressing determination to uphold the voice of the people through legislative debate and advocacy.
