Union Minister Kiren Rijiju commented on the Supreme Court's decision to grant interim bail to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. "The Supreme Court has granted the bail. However, he (Arvind Kejriwal) hasn't been acquitted. The Supreme Court has not declared the arrest as illegal. It has just granted the bail as the case has been referred to the larger bench," Rijiju stated. He emphasized that the interim bail should not be interpreted as an exoneration, as the legal process is still ongoing.
