BY A STAFF REPORTER: In a significant move, the Supreme Court on Monday ordered the State Bank of India to disclose all details in its procession including unique alphanumeric numbers and serial numbers of the redeemed bonds.
Moreover, the Apex Court also directed SBI Chairman Dinesh Khera to file an affidavit in the court by 5:00 PM, Thursday, declaring that it has revealed all details of the Electoral Bonds in its possession and custody and no details have been withheld.
Moreover, the Election Commission of India has been directed to upload all the details on its website after receiving the information from the SBI.
The Election Commission of India published the details of Electoral Bonds on Thursday which was submitted by the SBI after the Supreme Court's order on March 11. Furthermore, the details revealed that Future Gaming and Hotel Services along with Megha Engineering and Infrastructures Ltd. Are among the top donors to prominent political parties. The political parties that received the funding are BJP, INC, AIADMK, TMC, TDP and others. However, the SBI is yet to disclose a few details including the unique alphanumeric number and serial number of the bonds redeemed.
