UP police on high alert

BY A STAFF REPORTER: Uttar Pradesh police has been directed to speak to organisers of all religious rallies and provide special security cover to temples and places of religious worship as the consecration ceremony of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya draws closure to the main day of January 22. Speaking exclusively with ANM News over phone from Agra, Inspector general of police, Agra Range, Deepak Kumar said that police has held meeting with organisers of religious rallies, temple committees and other bodies. ``Police are on high alert. Central paramilitary forces, state police has been deployed at Krishna Janam Bhoomi and temples in Brindavan. We are committed to ensure peace on January 22,'' Kumar said.
