Chennai | In a bold statement, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin has strongly challenged Union Minister Amit Shah’s claim that the NDA will form a government in 2026. Stalin declared that Tamil Nadu will never submit to the administration of Delhi, asserting the state’s uniqueness and strong political identity.
“Amit Shah says that in 2026 they (NDA) will form a government. I am challenging and saying to him that Tamil Nadu will never yield to Delhi's administration. That much uniqueness we have,” Stalin said in response to Shah’s remarks. He emphasized that the Dravidian model government would continue to govern Tamil Nadu in 2026, rejecting any interference from the central government.
Stalin further criticized the NDA’s tactics in other states, referring to the breaking of parties and the use of raids to secure political control. “What you do in other states by breaking parties and raids to form governments, it won't work in Tamil Nadu,” he added. He reinforced that Tamil Nadu, with its distinct political culture, will remain outside of Delhi’s control and uphold its unique governance model.
