ECI issues election planner for Lok Sabha polls

BY A STAFF REPORTER: The Election Commission of India has issued an election planner to the chief electoral officers of all states in India. In the planner, various activities in build up to the election have been given along with times lines and duration of ach activity from start to finish. For the ensuing Lok Sabha polls, 2024, the ECI has given April 16 as poll day for the purpose of reference and to calculate start and end dates in the election planner.

The state electoral officer's office in Delhi issued a directive to all district election officers, a copy of which is with ANM News. Sources indicated that Lok Sabha elections might take place either at the end of April or in May, 2024.
