Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw revealed that the Union Cabinet has approved the BioE3 policy, a significant step towards fostering a bio-revolution akin to the industrial and IT revolutions. The policy, named Biotechnology for Economy, Environment, and Employment, is designed to support advancements in biotechnology and biosciences.
The BioE3 policy is structured around six key pillars, focusing on generating job opportunities and enhancing the sector's contribution to the economy and environment. This new framework is expected to drive growth and innovation in the biotechnology field, providing a robust foundation for future developments.
