Gandhinagar, Gujarat: As India prepares for the upcoming Renewable Energy (RE) Investors Summit, Union Minister Pralhad Joshi highlighted the nation's significant progress in the renewable energy sector. Speaking about the event, Joshi emphasized that this is the fourth RE Investors Meet and, for the first time, it is being organized outside Delhi. The summit will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on September 16.

“India is one of the leaders and pioneers in the renewable energy sector. Under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi, numerous achievements have been realized in this field,” Joshi stated. He noted that a record budget has been allocated to the RE sector, further driving the country’s development in green technologies, including green hydrogen.

Joshi also underscored India's early involvement in research and development in the RE sector, placing it on par with developed nations in terms of innovation and growth. As the summit approaches, India is positioning itself as a global leader in renewable energy, bolstered by continued government investments and a focus on sustainability.
