BY A STAFF REPORTER: All roads lead to Taj Mahal as the year inched towards an end. Huge crowd surged to soak into the romantic and majestic feel of the Taj.

ANM News spotted people from all over the country and even foreigners jostling with each other to catch a closer glimpse of the Taj.

There was beeline for the photographic hotspots. Security was tight with Agra police maintaining a tight vigil.

 Hundreds of policemen took guard along the road which was barricaded to stop traffic from going close to the structure.

Agra police commissioner Dr Preetender Singh monitored the tight security arrangements as initial reports indicated that 40,000 people visited the world’s most sought after historic shrine.
