How long will Centre keep mum? Will will Biren be sacked?

Who is to be blamed for the national shame ? The sexual assault of the two women in Manipur was waiting to happen.  With chief minister N Biren Singh completing failing to control law and order and Centre refusing to replace him or impose President’s rule in the state, the situation was always in a boil. According to local residents of Manipur, the blame completely lies with the union government and the home ministry.

 “What are the CRPF and BSF and Assam Rifles doing? We don’t want this Chief Minister. He has failed. He should be sacked,” said Eraboth, a senior man in his mid seventies staying in Imphal. His words were echoed by most across Manipur. The Centre and Biren Singh has allowed the situation to drift. Will it ever improve? How long will Centre keep mum? When will they sack the incompetent chief minister of Manipur?
