Know the motto and mascot of the 37th National Games

Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said, "The National Games will act as a catalyst for the overall refinement and growth of the existing sports ecosystem in the state."

BY A STAFF REPORTER: The motto of the 37th National Games is "Get Set Go". And this year's official mascot is a brown bison named 'MOGA'. It is wearing a blue jersey, dark blue pants and blue shoes. This mascot was unveiled by Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant at the Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Stadium on the occasion of 'Goa Revolution Day'. This mascot will represent the distinct identity of Goa and embody the public relations within the heritage of the state.

Reportedly, the infrastructure for the Games is now ready and the state is ready to welcome all the athletes. The Indian Sports Ministry has also decided to hold National Games every two years except for the Olympics and Asian Games.
