BY A STAFF REPORTER: Paralympic Committee of India (PCI) vice-president Satya Prakash Sangwan has been appointed as the head of mission of the Indian team. According to sources, the announcement was made on Tuesday. Sangwan has more than a decade of experience in the Paralympic movement. As Head of Mission, she will lead India's largest contingent of 84 para-athletes. Indian players will play 12 games.

Sangwan said, "It is a great honour for me to be given this responsibility. I am committed to ensuring that our athletes have everything they need to thrive at the Paralympics and make India proud. "

PCI President Devendra Jhajharia said, "Satya Prakash Sangwan has been an integral part of the Paralympic Committee of India for more than a decade. His dedication and leadership have always been an inspiration to our athletes. We are confident that under his guidance as Head of Mission, our team will achieve great success at the Paris Paralympics 2024." "
