Paris: International Olympic Committee (IOC) President Thomas Bach has praised the Paris 2024 Olympics, marking them as the first Olympic Games to achieve full gender parity.

Speaking about the event, Bach said, "First Olympic Games with full gender parity—that was the vision of the Olympic agenda. And all this with the athletes at the center of all the efforts." He emphasized that Paris brought this vision to life, making the games more appealing and exciting.
