With the goal of securing their fourth Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) championship title, Patna Pirates has officially named Shubham Shinde as captain and Ankit as vice-captain for the upcoming Season 11, which kicks off on 18 October 2024. Shinde, a 26-year-old defender from Kolkevari village in Maharashtra, is known for his discipline and unique defensive style, qualities that have earned him admiration from fans and players alike. Having played over 100 competitive matches in the PKL, Shubham’s impressive track record positions him as a formidable leader for the Pirates.

Supporting Shubham will be 25-year-old Ankit, who has played 23 PKL matches. Ankit’s speed and quick reflexes will be crucial for the team’s strategy throughout the season.
