Just two months ago, the player auction for Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) Season 11 took place, and the new season is all set to begin on October 18. As fans gear up for the action, let’s take a look at some of the highest-priced players who made headlines during the auction.

This season saw multiple players surpass the Rs 1 crore mark, with Sachin Tanwar emerging as the most expensive player. Tamil Thalaivas shelled out a massive Rs 2.15 crore to secure his services for their team.

The two-day auction witnessed record-breaking spending from the 12 franchises, with over Rs 30 crore spent on acquiring 118 players. For the first time in PKL history, eight players crossed the Rs 1 crore mark.

In addition to Sachin Tanwar’s big buy, Haryana Steelers snapped up Muhammadreza Shadlui Chianeh for Rs 2.07 crore. Sunil Kumar from U Mumba became the highest-priced Indian defender, with his price tag at Rs 1.015 crore. Meanwhile, Ajit V Kumar made headlines as the most expensive player in Category-C, fetching Rs 66 lakh in the auction.
