BY A STAFF REPORTER: Just a day before the Pran-Pratishtha ceremony, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday visited the Dhanushkodi's Arichal Munai Point, from where the Ram Setu bridge is believed to be built. 

As the PM visited significant temples and religious places ahead of the Pran-Pratishtha ceremony, he visited a highly important site of the Ramayana epic. The Arichal Munai is the point where Ram Setu was built by the Vanar sena led by Lord Hanuman on the instructions of Lord Rama. The bridge connected India to Sri Lanka. Subsequently, PM Modi will also offer prayers at the Kothandaramaswamy Temple in Dhanushkodi.

the Ram Temple consecration rituals began on January 16 Tuesday and will continue for seven days. The final ritual will be performed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 22nd January. Over 7,000 dignitaries will attend the grand Pran-Pratishtha ceremony on 22nd January in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh.
