BY A STAFF REPORTER: Alok Kumar, the international working president of Vishwa Hindu Parishad on Friday refuted Congress MP Digvijaya Singh's remarks claiming that the Temple is incomplete.

Moreover, Kumar explained that the Idol of Lord Ram will be placed on the ground floor which is fully built and a propitious time is set at 12:20 PM. He further stressed that the consecration ceremony is unfolding ritualistically in a fully constructed temple. The VHP President stated that three Shankaracharya have solicited the Pran-Pratishtha ceremony. However, the Shankaracharya of Jyotish Peeth has turned down the invitation stating that the temple is 'incomplete'.

He also mentioned that the VHP worked as an aide to Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust in distributing invitations. Additionally, Kumar accused other parties of not offering assistance due to concerns related to the 'minority vote bank'.

Responding to Singh's Statement, Alok Kumar said that all the parties against the ceremony are members of the INDI Alliance which cannot be mistaken as the whole country's opposition.

The statement comes before the Ram Temple consecration ceremony which is scheduled on 22nd January in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh
