11,000 PAN card is cancelled, not your card too?

BY A STAFF REPORTER: According to information from RTI, this huge consumer has been canceled by the Central Board of Direct Taxes. These 11 crores have been canceled without successfully linking with Aadhaar. The deadline for linking Aadhaar and PAN was fixed till June 20, 2023.

Chandra Shekhar Gaur of Madhya Pradesh is the RT Aita. According to the data, a total of 70.24 crore citizens had PAN card. Out of that 52.25 crore people will not be able to successfully add that card to Aadhaar and the rest will be canceled if the users cannot be linked. As mentioned in the RTI, Rs 1000 can be started with the card.

As per Section 139A of the Income Tax Act, those who created their PAN CARM before July 1, 2017 will have to link their Aadhaar card.

1. Go to the official income tax website and click on Link Aadhaar Status option.

2. Pan and Aadhaar space will be available. After filling, you have to click on the 'Link Aadhaar Status View' option. Can be normalized whether the card is linked to income or not.
