Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury Slams Bengal Govt Over Attack On NIA Officials

BY A STAFF REPORTER: Congress MP Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury on Saturday condemned the NIA incident and took a jibe at the TMC-led West Bengal Government for the attack in Purba Medinipur. 

Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury stated that their party has condemned the attack on sleuths of various central agencies including NIA, ED, and CBI in West Bengal. He further alleged that state government-supported goons carry such attacks in Bengal. Chowdhury also expressed concern about the alleged misuse of the central agencies and stated that the INDIA Bloc is agitating against the same. "I cannot justify these attacks on the central agencies. We have the judiciary, which can be approached in case of any grievance" He added.

Earlier today, Sleuths of NIA faced violent protests at Bhupatinagar while conducting raids in connection with the December 2022 blast case in which three people were killed. An NIA official suffered minor injuries and their vehicles were also vandalized. However, the NIA arrested two key conspirators during the raids.
