BY A STAFF REPORTER: Hours after the Coochbehar Clash, West Bengal Governor CV Ananda Bose is set to visit the violence-hit site on March 20, Wednesday.
The Governor arrived at the Bagdogra airport and will soon embark on his journey to Dinhata, Coochbehar, where the incident took place. Moreover, Bose stated "I have come here for a reality check on ground zero where these incidents are reportedly taking place. I will interact with the people around there and then comment on it."
Several supporters of BJP clashed with the supporters of the Trinamool Congress in Dinhata, Coochbehar on Tuesday evening. The incident injured numerous people including police personnel. Furthermore, the clash broke out hours after MoS Nisith Pramanik addressed a public rally in the area and state minister Udayan Guha was set to head a rally nearby the area.
