BJP Mahila Morcha Members Released From Detention By Bengal Police

BY A STAFF REPORTER: Hours after being detained, BJP leaders including Locket Chatterjee, Agnimitra Paul, and Bharati Ghosh along with Mahila Morcha members were released by the police in Kolkata's New Town, West Bengal on 7th March, Thursday.

The leaders were detained by the police personnel after an intense scuffle broke out between the women leaders and the personnel.

Moreover, a BJP delegation led by BJP MP Locket Chatterjee, MLA Agnimitra Paul, and former IPS officer Bharati Ghosh were stopped by the security forces while heading towards unrest-hit Sandeshkhali.
