BY A STAFF REPORTER: BJP's six-member fact-finding team constituted by BJP President JP Nadda was stopped from entering Sandeshkali, North 24 Parganas by the police authorities on 16th February, Friday.
The delegation was stopped with police barricades in Rampur while they were en route to Sandeshkali. The team was formed by party president JP Nadda to investigate the allegations of systematic sexual exploitations and land-grabbing in West Bengal's Sandeshkali.
Protests against TMC leader Shahjahan Sheikh and his associates for alleged land-grabbing and systemic sexual exploitations of women turned violent on 9th February. WB Governor C.V Ananda Bose visited Sandeshkali on 12th February and expressed grief on witnessing the grievances of the residents.
