Congress Never Remembered Fishermen: PM Modi In South Goa
PM Modi stated that fishermen existed when the country achieved independence and they also existed during Lord Ram's era. He further alleged that Congress never remembered fishermen during their tenure.
BY A STAFF REPORTER: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday slammed the Congress for allegedly not paying enough attention to the fishermen during their tenure.
While addressing a rally in South Goa, PM Modi stated that fishermen existed when the country achieved independence and they also existed during Lord Ram's era. He further alleged that Congress never remembered fishermen during their tenure. "It is Modi who made a separate ministry for the fisheries department. We gave them a Kisan Credit card." He added.

Earlier today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also addressed a rally in Kolhapur, Maharashtra where he took a jibe at the Opposition for not securing seats in triple-digits during the previous Lok Sabha elections in 2019.
