Delhi: CPI General Secretary D Raja expressed outrage over the recent rape and murder of a doctor at Kolkata Medical College Hospital, describing it as a "heinous crime." He stressed that such incidents should never happen in the country and highlighted the gravity of the situation.
Raja commended the state government for taking the matter seriously and emphasized the need for a detailed CBI investigation. "The truth must come out, and no culprit should go unpunished," he said, adding that the investigation should set an example for other states. He insisted that if similar crimes occur, there must be a thorough probe followed by strict action against the perpetrators.
