Delhi Court Extends Arvind Kejriwal's Judicial Custody Till May 7

The Rouse Avenue Court on Tuesday extended Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, BRS MLC K Kavitha, and Chanpreet Singh's judicial remand till May 7 in the Delhi Excise Policy Case.

BY A STAFF REPORTER: The Rouse Avenue Court on Tuesday extended Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, BRS MLC K Kavitha, and Chanpreet Singh's judicial remand till May 7 in the Delhi Excise Policy Case.

The three accused were presented via video conferencing before the Rouse Avenue Court. Subsequently, the court extended their judicial custody for 14 days. 

Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal was administered low-dose insulin after the directions of the AIIMS team. The AIIMS team was constituted after the directions of Rouse Avenue Court over Kejriwal's plea on Monday. 

Arvind Kejriwal was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate on March 21 from his residence in the excise policy matter. BRS MLC K Kavitha was also taken into ED custody on March 16 concerning the same matter. On April 15, the ED arrested Chanpreet Singh who reportedly handled AAP funds during the Goa Assembly Polls.
