ECI appoints Sanjay Mukherjee for the top post

By a staff reporter: You read it first on ANM News. We were the first to inform that Election Commission of India has asked for three names of senior IPS officers from West Bengal after removing the current incumbent Rajeev Kumar. 

We were first to inform that the names of Sanjay Mukherjee, Ranvir Kumar and Dr Rajehs Kumar were sent to the ECI. The poll body decided to go by seniority and appointed Sanjay Mukherjee as the DGP.

The 1990 batch IPS officer will be responsible for conducting peaceful elections in the state. 

Mukherjee was directed to take charge from interim DGP Vivek Sahay immediately..
