Ex-Babri Litigant Iqbal Ansari Receives Ram Temple Consecration Invite

BY A STAFF REPORTER: The key supporter of Babri Mosque, Iqbal Ansari was invited on Friday to attend the Ram Temple consecration ceremony by the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirth Kshetra Trust.

As many await the invitation to the Ram Temple consecration ceremony, Ansari received the invitation to attend the Ram Mandir consecration ceremony from the workers of RSS on behalf of SRJTK Trust. Moreover, Iqbal also received the invitation for the Bhoomipujan ceremony on 5th August 2020. 

On receiving the invitation, Iqbal expressed his happiness about Lord Ram's installation on the land of Ayodhya. He also stated that Ayodhya is a land of Many religions' harmony including Hinduism, Sikhism, and Christianity.

On Thursday, when questioned about the foreign invitees, Randhir Jaiswal, the spokesperson for the Ministry of External Affairs, disclosed that the decision on whom to invite rests with the Trust, as they are the organizers of the event.

The Ram Temple Consecration ceremony will be held on 22nd January in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh.
