Jammu And Kashmir: 2.5 Kg Narcotics Recovered in Poonch

BY A STAFF REPORTER: The Poonch Brigade Ghari Battalion, intelligence agency, and Narcotics Bureau control in a joint operation seized 2.5kg of drugs near the Line of Control in Degwar Terwha in the Poonch district on Wednesday.

The security forces recovered 2.5kg of forbidden narcotics including heroin which would cost crores in the foreign market. Moreover, these drugs were smuggled from across the border and were abandoned in the Malti Area before the border fence. The investigation is currently underway.

Yesterday, 100 crores of illegal narcotics were recovered in Assam's Karimganj district by Assam's Special Task Force and district police force while conducting a joint search operation.
