BY A STAFF REPORTER: Karnataka's Former Deputy Chief Minister K S Eshwarappa is set to file his nomination for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections as an independent candidate from the Shivamogga constituency on April 12, Friday.

K S Eshwarappa asserted that he will secure victory in the Lok Sabha polls as an independent candidate and will extend support to Prime Minister Narendra Modi afterward.

BJP leader K S Eshwarappa decided to contest as an independent candidate against former CM Yediyurappa's son and BJP Candidate from Shivamogga B Y Raghavendra as he was upset over his son K E Kantesh not being nominated from the Haveli constituency and alleged dynasty politics. He aims to safeguard the party's ideology and stop one family's control over the party in Karnataka.
