Kharagpur railway police great success!

By a Staff Reporter: About 62 kg 965 grams of ganja was recovered from train number 1806 down Samleswari Express train. The railway police, on tip-off, arrested three persons, including a woman, from a compartment of the Samleswari Express. About 62 kilos of ganja have been recovered from them, said the railway police.

The accused are Badsha Sheikh, Sonamani Lama, Sachin Mondal, Kazi Mumtaz, these four accused have been taken to the Kharagpur Sub-Divisional Court by the Railway Police. The four accused are said to be residents of East Burdwan. They boarded the train from Odisha's Samleshwari station. The accused said that someone gave them these packets. And those packets were the ones they were going to reach. That's when the police arrested them.
