Maliwal Ka Sach: AAP Reacts To Swati Maliwal Assault Case

BY A STAFF REPORTER: Days after the incident, the Aam Aadmi Party responded to the viral video allegedly pertaining to the Swati Maliwal slapgate and stated that this was Maliwal's truth on May 17, Friday. 

Taking it to their X handle, AAP reposted the viral video clip and stated "Maliwal ka Sach" (Maliwal's Truth). Swati Maliwal has also responded to the video, terming it an out-of-context video to save a political hitman (Bibhav Kumar). She further demanded for the CCTV footage.

The short clip was shot in the living room of Arvind Kejriwal's residence. In the video, Swati Maliwal was reportedly seen warning CM Arvind Kejriwal's staff against calling the cops.  Moreover, Delhi Police has taken cognizance of the video. However, they are yet to verify the authenticity of the clip.

Rajya Sabha MP and former Chairperson of Delhi Commission for Women Swati Maliwal was brutally assaulted by Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal's PA Bibhav Kumar in his residence on May 13. The Delhi Police registered a case against Kumar in connection with the assault on Maliwal. The Delhi Police also recorded Swati Maliwal's statement under section 164 of CrPC today.
