BY A STAFF REPORTER: On Friday, the West Bengal Pollution Control Board organized an environmental education program under Mission Life in Jhargram. The event saw participation from students of various schools and colleges. Dr. Kalyan Rudra, Chairman of the West Bengal Pollution Control Board, was present at the event.

Dr. Kalyan Rudra addressed the attendees, saying, "There have been four phases of this assault on nature. Soil, water, and air have been polluted in various ways, and many animals and plants have become extinct. As a result, the damage to the environment must be mitigated. This is why the program is named Mission Life. The primary aim of this initiative is to inspire students. Consequently, they can play a leading role in this fight and achieve the main objectives of Mission Life, such as water conservation, preventing energy wastage, and protecting ecosystems."

The program emphasized the importance of environmental conservation and aimed to educate students on how they can contribute to these efforts. Through their participation, students were encouraged to take an active role in achieving the goals of Mission Life and become advocates for a sustainable future.
