BY A STAFF REPORTER: Amid the Lok Sabha elections, Union Home Minister Amit Shah took a strong jibe at West Bengal's Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, claiming that her initial slogan of 'Maa, Maati Manush' has changed to 'Mulla, Madarsa and Mafia'.

While addressing an election rally in Serampore, Amit Shah alleged that the slogan of 'Maa, Maati, Manush', through which Mamata Banerjee came to power, has changed to 'Mulla, Madarsa and Mafia'. He further accused her of denying permission to Durga Puja Visarjan but giving leave to Muslim employees in Ramzan.

The Serampore Lok Sabha Constituency is set to face elections in the fifth phase on May 20. BJP has fielded Kabir Shankar Bose against TMC's incumbent MP Kalyan Banerjee from Serampore. Moreover, Bose is Kalyan Banerjee's former son-in-law.
