The NSUI staged a protest demanding justice for Neha Hiremath and a fast-track trial. Moreover, Union Minister and Union Minister Shobha Karandlaje also staged a protest along with members of BJP Mahila Morcha on Tuesday morning.
An MCA student of KLE Technological University and daughter of Congress Councillor Niranjan Hiremath, Neha Hiremath was hacked to death by former classmate Fayyaz on the college campus on April 18, Thursday. The father of the victim has alleged that Fayyaz was Neha's jilted lover and killed her after facing rejection.
