BY A STAFF REPORTER: It rained in many districts of South Bengal early in the morning. Due to the rain, the temperature has dropped slightly. According to the Alipur Meteorological Department, although there is no possibility of heavy rain, it will continue to rain for 5 consecutive days starting July 17, i.e., in several districts of South Bengal.

Thunderstorms may also occur in some places. Along with rain, gale-force winds may continue over West Medinipur, Jhargram, Purulia, Bankura, East Burdwan, West Burdwan, and Birbhum.
